I just read a post on a website run by the 39th District GOP that says the Democrat leadership has been paying Fred Walser (husband of Monroe Mayor Donnetta Walser) to run for office, even though he was just found guilty of obstructing an investigation and sentenced for it. I’m all for it in theory. The only challenge is the location, how much it will cost, who will pay for it, and who will keep paying for its maintenance and operations? Okay that’s four questions.

I smelled it coming and we tried to warn the Mayor when we debated her budget last fall. The City of Monroe is facing a $400,000 (at least) budget shortfall this year.
