Chad & Julie Minnick have been married for ten years and bought their first home in the Fryelands in Monroe. 

Julie is a fine artist, graphic designer and writer. Together, she and Chad have dabbled in songwriting (like this song that was played at Seahawk games) (see video below) and even produced several community theater productions through their church.

Chad & Julie are active in their church, working with youth and missions work in Central America.

In 2003, just two weeks after being elected to the City Council, their daughter Madison was born. Madison is now almost four years old and her passion is golf, painting and wrestling with daddy. Chad adds with emphasis that, among her many interests, her greatest passion is unequivocably golf.

The newest member of the Minnick family is Melissa, a 14 year old girl from Honduras.

Chad was first elected to the Monroe City Council in 2003, running on a platform of making Monroe a better place to live and raise a family. He promised to pass tougher laws protecting our children from sex offenders, build the North Kelsey Village with more shopping and public open space, see more ball fields constructed for youth sports, focus more energy on traffic problems and correct the City’s massive budget woes.

Chad & Julie now live on the North Hill in the Sinclair Heights neighborhood.
